Polished
The polished finish is one of the most popular and is characterised by a smooth, shiny surface that reflects light.
Honed
A honed finish provides a surface similar to polished but with a more subdued shine and a softer texture.
Aged
An aged finish is a technique that gives the surface an antique and weathered appearance through a chemical or mechanical process.
Bush-hammered
A bush-hammered finish is a technique that produces a rough texture using a pneumatic hammer.
Bush-hammered + antiqued
A bush-hammered+aged finish combines both techniques to create a more pronounced aged effect.
Sandblasted
A sandblasted finish provides a finely dotted surface that maintains uniformity in texture, featuring slight wear in the striations and colour.
Sandblasted + aged
When sandblasting is combined with ageing, it results in a beautifully aged appearance achieved through a completely mechanical erosion process.
Pointed
A pointed finish creates a texture similar to bush-hammered but it’s done manually using a pointing tool.
Flamed
A flamed finish offers a rough, glassy and very natural appearance, with gentle mounds and depressions that texture the surface and make it slip-resistant.
Flamed + brushed
When a flamed finish is combined with brushing, it results in a flamed+brushed finish that provides a smooth and even texture.
Short-blasted
A shot-blasted finish is a technique that exposes the bumps and reliefs of the block or slab, creating an appearance similar to that of a naturally fractured piece.
Sapienstone
A semi-bush-hammered+brushed finish provides a smooth and even texture with a pattern of grooves and channels that add visual interest to the surface.
